Lists

In Viber Messages, Lists allow you to organize and group contacts or audiences for targeted messaging. Using Lists, you can segment your audience based on specific criteria, making it easier to send messages that are relevant to each group.

What is a List?

A List is a collection of contacts or users that you organize according to certain characteristics or preferences. Lists help you:

• Target Specific Groups with messages suited to their interests.
• Manage Audience Segments efficiently for more personalized outreach.
• Organize Contacts based on categories such as demographics, preferences, or activity.

Creating a List

1. Go to the Lists Section: From the main menu, select Lists to view all your current lists or create a new one.

2. Create New List: Click on Create new List, then name your list and define the criteria for adding contacts.

3. Add Contacts: You can add contacts manually or set up criteria that will automatically include users (e.g., location, engagement level).

4. Save and Manage: Once your list is created, you can view and manage it, adding or removing contacts as needed.

Using Lists for Targeted Messaging

Once you have your lists set up, you can select a list when creating a new campaign or message:

• Compose a Message: Go to the Messages section, and when setting up the message, choose a list to determine the recipients.
• Schedule or Send Immediately: Whether you're sending a message now or scheduling it for later, targeting a specific list ensures it reaches the intended group.
• Track Engagement by List: In the analytics section, you can see how each list responds to your messages, giving you insights into each group's engagement.

Managing Lists

From the Lists Overview page, you can:

• Edit Lists: Change the criteria, add or remove contacts, or rename your lists.
• Merge or Duplicate Lists: Combine similar lists or duplicate lists for easy segmentation.
• Delete Lists: Remove lists that are no longer needed.
